The woman behind PeptaVive

I didn't set out to build a business. I set out to get an answer no one would give me.

Where it started

I did everything I was told. And things continued to get worse.

For years, I did what I was told. I took what the doctors handed me. And I kept not feeling right — in ways that never seemed to add up to anything anyone could name. Every symptom got its own appointment, its own shrug, its own specialist. Nobody was looking at the whole of me. So I started looking myself.

The dots no one connected

Here's the strange part: I never had heartburn. Not once.

No burning. No classic acid-reflux anything. And yet I was told, with total confidence, that acid reflux was my problem.

Turns out there's a name for reflux that doesn't announce itself: silent reflux. It skips the burn entirely and goes after your throat, your sinuses, your voice — even your ears. Which is exactly where mine showed up: clogged, muffled, a constant ringing, a noise in my head that never fully went quiet.

Then came the part I couldn't push through — the part that took the choice away from me: the vertigo. The room tilting. My own balance turning against me. There is nothing quite like no longer being able to trust your body to keep you upright.

And here's the thread no doctor ever followed for me. What I came to believe — and what a growing number of practitioners now argue — is that my problem was never too much acid. It was too little. Too little to break my food down, so it sat and fermented. And — this part is well established — too little to pull the B12 out of what I ate. Your nerves, your hearing, your balance all run on B12. The "fix" I'd been handed, a daily pill to lower my acid even further, may have been quietly feeding the very thing that was unraveling me.

Stomach. Ears. Ringing. Balance. Symptom after symptom, specialist after specialist, shrug after shrug — and not one of them ever spoke to another. Nobody connected the dots, because nobody's paid to. I connected them because I had to. Because no one else was going to.

I'm not a doctor, and this isn't medical advice — it's my story and what I learned living it. The point isn't "do what I did." The point is that the dots were connectable, and someone finally had to look.

The moment everything changed

Doctors are extraordinary when something breaks. But for everything else, there's a gap.

That's the moment it all clicked. Doctors are miracle workers when something breaks — a bone, an emergency, a crisis. But for the everyday stuff — the "your labs are normal, you're fine" stuff, the slow stuff, the off stuff — there's a gap. No billing code. No appointment long enough. No one whose job it is to look at the whole of you.

I'd been living in that gap for years. So had my husband, with his "off days" that no test ever explained. So had every woman I knew. So I climbed into the gap and did the work myself — reading the research, connecting the dots, paying attention to what my body was actually telling me. The right things, at the right time, in the right forms. And slowly, I got my life back.

"I'm not trying to be 25 again. But I am planning on sticking around for a very long time — and I plan on participating in life, not watching from a chair."

Why I built PeptaVive

I went looking for a place that would live in that gap with me. Something that spoke plain English. Something that understood I'm post-menopausal, that I'm on medications, that I had a drawer full of supplements I didn't fully understand — and that I deserved better than a panicked Google search at midnight.

I couldn't find it. So I built it.

PeptaVive wasn't built by a tech team who Googled menopause. It was built by a woman living every single one of these challenges — who got sick of the gap, climbed in, and decided to build the thing she couldn't find. For you.

The three things that changed everything
🍽️

You Are What You Consume

Every bite, every supplement, every peptide — your body responds to all of it. Pay attention to how you feel after you eat. Your body is always talking. Start listening.

Timing Is Everything

The right supplement at the wrong time can be worthless. Calcium and magnesium cancel each other out. Fish oil needs fat to absorb. Timing isn't a preference — it's chemistry.

Sleep Is When You Heal

While you sleep, your body repairs itself from head to toe. Every cell. Every system. Protecting your sleep isn't indulgent — it's the most powerful wellness tool you have.

You don't have to figure it out alone.

That's the whole reason PeptaVive exists. Ask it anything — about what you're taking, what you're curious about, or the dots no one's connected for you. It's the companion I wish I'd had.
