Privacy Policy
Hi. I'm Patricia, the founder of PeptaVive. Before you read another word, I want to say this in plain English: I built PeptaVive for people like me, and I take your privacy seriously because I'd want mine taken seriously too. This page explains exactly what happens to your information when you use peptavive.ai. No tricks. No fine print designed to hide things.
Who we are
PeptaVive is an AI-powered supplement and peptide advisory platform. We're based in North Georgia. If you ever have a question about your privacy, email me directly at getpeptavive@gmail.com.
What we collect — the short version
- Your email address (and your first name, if you give it), if you sign up for the free trial, save your report on our fact-checker, create a free account in one of our tools, or become a Founding Member
- Your payment information, but only through Stripe — we never see or store your card numbers
- Basic visit information that every website collects (your IP address, browser type, pages visited) through our hosting provider, Netlify
- The supplements you choose to save, like the items in a report you save on our fact-checker, or the stack you keep in My Stack. These are saved to your account so they’re there whenever you sign in. Some tools, like the Tracker, keep their entries on your device only (see below)
- Anonymous usage counts on some pages, such as that a page was opened, a section was reached, or a check was run, so we can see which parts actually help. They use a random code that lives only in your open browser tab and disappears when you close it. They aren't linked to your account, and we don't record your name, email, IP address or anything you type, except the name of a supplement you check on the fact-checker. If it doesn't recognise the name, we keep the name as you typed it (up to 50 characters, nothing else) so we can add it. If it looks like an email address, phone number or web link, we don't keep it. They're stored with our database provider (Supabase), kept for 90 days, and never shared or sold.
- Research on supplements the fact-checker doesn’t know yet. When you check something we haven’t covered, we research it for you: the item’s name, and nothing else, is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, which looks it up. The name isn’t linked to you or your account. The answer is kept so the next person who checks the same thing gets it instantly, and we review those answers. To keep this to a few new items per visit, we note the random code from your open browser tab and the time of each new research, never the item, your name or your IP address.
That is the entire list.
What we don't collect
I want to be specific about this because most websites bury it:
- We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Pinterest tracking, TikTok pixel, or any other third-party behavioral tracking
- We do not save what you type into the fact-checker, Peptide Calculator, Supplement Advisor, Interaction Checker, or any of our advisory tools on our servers, apart from the anonymous counts described above, unless you choose to: by saving your report, or by adding items to your stack while you’re signed in. Otherwise these tools process your inputs and the data disappears the moment you close the page
- We do not sell your information to anyone, ever
- We do not collect Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined under HIPAA, because PeptaVive is not a healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse
How our tools work today
Our tools — including the Peptide & Supplement Tracker, the Calculator, the Supplement Advisor, the Interaction Checker, and others — run in your browser. The information you enter is used to calculate or display your results during your session. Nothing you type is saved unless you choose to, apart from the supplement names in the anonymous counts described above.
Some tools, like the Tracker, save your entries locally on your own device using a feature called local storage. This means your vials, doses, and notes stay on the phone or computer you used to enter them. They are not stored on our servers, and we cannot see them. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, that information will not transfer.
When you save your report, or add items to My Stack while you’re signed in, the supplements you saved, your email and your first name (if you gave it) are stored in your account with our database provider, Supabase, so they follow you to any device you sign in on. Your account is private to you. We never sell it, and no brand ever sees it. To have it deleted, email getpeptavive@gmail.com.
How membership sign-up works
When you become a member, you pay through a secure Stripe checkout page and your membership is activated automatically. Your email is added to our Mailchimp list so we can send account and membership updates. Stripe processes all payments — we do not see or store your card details. You can update your payment method or cancel anytime through Manage billing, which is also run by Stripe.
How we use your information
When you give us your email, we use it to:
- Deliver your 7-day free trial access
- Send you welcome emails, occasional updates, and educational content about PeptaVive
- If you start a Day One, email you when it's time to check in. What you wrote as your "before" is never included in that email.
- Process your Founding Member subscription, if you choose to join
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs to help the site run securely and reliably.
Who has access to your information
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run PeptaVive:
- Mailchimp holds our email list and sends emails on our behalf
- Stripe processes payments
- Netlify hosts the website
- Supabase is our database: your account, your saved stack and the anonymous counts described above
- Anthropic provides the AI behind Ask PeptaVive and the fact-checker’s research. It receives what you ask Ask PeptaVive (and, if you’re signed in, the parts of your profile it needs to answer you), and for the fact-checker’s research only the item’s name
Each of these companies has its own privacy practices and security measures. We share with them only what's necessary to do the job they do for us.
We do not share, rent, or sell your information to advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights over your personal information. These include the right to:
- Know what information we have about you
- Request a copy of that information
- Ask us to correct it
- Ask us to delete it
- Opt out of marketing emails (every email has an unsubscribe link)
- Tell us not to sell your information (we don't sell it anyway)
To exercise any of these rights, email getpeptavive@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are a resident of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, or another state with consumer privacy laws, you have specific rights under those laws and we honor all of them.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small amount of local storage on your own device. This is what powers the 7-day trial countdown and the saved entries in tools like the Tracker. It lives on your computer or phone, not on our servers. You can clear it anytime through your browser settings.
We do not use behavioral tracking cookies.
Children's privacy
PeptaVive is built for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
We protect your information using industry-standard practices, including secure connections (HTTPS) across the entire site and trusted third-party providers (Stripe, Mailchimp, Netlify) who maintain their own security standards.
No system is 100% secure, and we won't pretend otherwise. If something ever goes wrong, we will notify affected users promptly and follow all applicable breach-notification laws.
A note about medical information
PeptaVive provides educational information about supplements, peptides, and wellness. We are not doctors. Nothing on this site is medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new supplement or peptide. See our Medical Disclaimer and Terms of Service for more.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of peptavive.ai after changes means you accept the updated policy.
